Radio Frequency Admittance (RFA) level detectors are an advanced evolution of capacitive level technology, using a probe and vessel wall as capacitor electrodes to detect changes in the medium; by measuring admittance variations via high-frequency radio waves—and incorporating an oscillator buffer and AC chopper driver—they effectively mitigate material buildup (“coating”) on sensors; featuring a modular design with primary and guard electrodes, they simultaneously measure combined changes in capacitance, resistance, and inductance, offering anti-coating and anti-interference capabilities, with a probe temperature range of –20 °C to 200 °C, IP66 protection, and support for vertical or split-type installation, making them suitable for liquids, slurries, powders, and granular materials in chemical, power, metallurgy, and food industries—including applications in oil, cement, and grain storage.
