Tuning Fork Level Switch

Tuning fork level switches detect liquid or solid levels by monitoring changes in the fork’s vibration frequency (typically 1–3 kHz); when the fork contacts material, its oscillation dampens, altering impedance and triggering an electronic circuit to activate a relay or alarm. With no moving parts, they offer low maintenance, immunity to variations in density or viscosity, and robust performance across –40 °C to 200 °C and pressures up to 10 MPa—making them suitable for corrosive chemicals (chemical industry), hygienic applications (food processing), and wastewater treatment.
