Rotary Paddle Level Controller

Rotary paddle (or obstruction-type) level switches contain a small motor inside an enclosure, connected via a magnetic clutch to a shaft fitted with rotating blades; when no material is present, the blades spin freely with the motor, but upon contact with solid material, the paddle stalls, causing the motor to stop and triggering an alarm signal—providing reliable point-level detection for powders, granules, and bulk solids in silos and hoppers.
