Balanced Flow Meter

Balanced flow meters are based on energy conversion principles in closed conduits: for ideal fluids, flow rate is proportional to the square root of the differential pressure; by measuring this ΔP and applying Bernoulli’s equation, volumetric or mass flow can be calculated; the balanced flow sensor features a multi-hole disk installed across the pipe cross-section, where each “function hole” is precisely sized and positioned according to proprietary formulas and test data; as fluid passes through these holes, it becomes uniformly distributed and rectified, minimizing vortices and approximating ideal flow, thereby generating a stable differential pressure signal via tapping ports for highly accurate flow computation.
