Split-type Ultrasonic Gas Flow MeterThe split-type ultrasonic gas flow meter achieves high-precision gas flow measurement using ultrasonic technology. Its core principle relies on the time-of-flight difference between upstream and downstream ultrasonic signals (typical accuracy: ±1%). When ultrasonic waves propagate through a gas, their speed increases in the direction of flow (e.g., +2 m/s) and decreases against the flow (e.g., –2 m/s). A microprocessor calculates this time difference to determine flow velocity (measurable range: 0.1–60 m/s). Combined with the pipe’s cross-sectional area, it outputs instantaneous flow rates (up to 10,000 m³/h) and supports cumulative flow measurement. Its non-intrusive measurement eliminates pressure loss, and its portable design (weight < 5 kg) enables rapid field deployment—ideal for natural gas pipeline inspections and industrial emission monitoring.
