High Static Pressure Differential Pressure Transmitter
High-static-pressure differential pressure transmitters employ capacitive sensing technology to accurately measure level, flow, or pressure of liquids, gases, or steam under high-line-pressure conditions. Process pressure is transmitted via isolation diaphragms and fill fluid to both sides of a central measuring diaphragm, forming a differential pressure that deflects the diaphragm proportionally. This deflection changes the capacitance between the diaphragm and fixed electrodes; the resulting capacitance difference is converted by onboard electronics into a linear 4–20 mA DC output, enabling precise differential measurements even when superimposed on very high static pressures.
