Differential pressure transmitters operate through a diaphragm-sealed sensing element that divides the internal space into two chambers; when process pressures are applied to each chamber, the resulting pressure difference causes the diaphragm to deflect proportionally, and this displacement is converted into a standard output signal; performance is influenced by the sensor’s structural design, chamber configuration, and displacement-to-signal conversion method; these transmitters measure liquids, gases, and steam across a wide range—from 0–0.1 kPa to 0–40 MPa—with a standard 4–20 mA DC output and a power supply requirement of 12–45 V DC (typically 24 V DC), making them indispensable in industrial measurement applications.
