Electromagnetic Flow Meter
Electromagnetic flow meters consist of two parts: a sensor and a converter. Based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, they measure the volumetric flow rate of conductive liquids with conductivity greater than 5 μS/cm, making them inductive instruments for measuring the volumetric flow of conductive media. In addition to general conductive liquids, they can also measure highly corrosive fluids such as strong acids and strong alkalis, as well as uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspensions like slurry, mineral pulp, and paper stock. They are widely used for flow measurement in industries including petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, textiles, papermaking, environmental protection, and food production, as well as in municipal management, water conservancy projects, and river dredging.
