Intelligent Vortex Flow Meter
The intelligent integrated vortex flow meter combines flow, temperature, and pressure sensors into a single unit. Building on all traditional advantages, it employs modern microprocessor technology and a built-in LCD display to directly calculate standardized volumetric or mass flow rates for gases and steam without requiring an external flow computer—i.e., it performs automatic temperature and pressure compensation on-site. The vortex flow transmitter is primarily used for measuring flow of various media (gases, liquids, and steam) in industrial pipelines. It features low pressure loss, wide turndown ratio, high accuracy, and minimal dependence on fluid density, pressure, temperature, or viscosity during actual volumetric flow measurement. With no moving mechanical parts, it offers high reliability and low maintenance. Its meter factor remains stable over time. Insertion-type models can be installed via a pipe tap with a ball valve, enabling installation and maintenance without interrupting flow—ideal for periodic cleaning in dirty media. Equipped with a piezoelectric stress sensor, it operates reliably across a temperature range of –20 °C to +250 °C and provides both analog standard signals and digital pulse outputs, making it easy to integrate with computerized digital systems—an advanced and ideal flow measurement solution.
