Intelligent Precession Vortex Flowmeter
The precession vortex flowmeter is a gas metering instrument applied in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, urban gas supply and other fields. Produced by enterprises such as Jiangsu Hongjia and Xiao'an Instruments, it is suitable for the trade metering scenarios of natural gas transmission and distribution. Its core principle is based on the Venturi tube structure and vortex precession frequency detection: secondary rotating eddy currents are generated through spiral guide vanes, and the microprocessor is used to perform real-time automatic compensation for temperature, pressure and compression factor.This instrument adopts an electromechanical integrated design, integrating a flow probe, pressure sensor and intelligent chip. It has no mechanical moving parts and features corrosion resistance. Built-in with dual-detection anti-interference technology and an intelligent anti-vibration system, it supports operation without an external power supply and is equipped with a liquid crystal screen to display instantaneous/cumulative flow and environmental parameters. It is compatible with signal output such as RS485 and HART protocols, and has an internal EEPROM to store the annual historical data. The applicable temperature range is -30℃ to +80℃, with a nominal pressure up to 6.3MPa. Its installation shall meet the straight pipe section requirements of the upstream and downstream, and regular calibration is required.
